Thanks that's what I might have to do, I see the rate is $99 but how does tournament time figure into that as I prefer those? Is it counted the same as cash games with 5h of playtime or do tournaments count differently towards the time usually?

Any daily tournaments worth hitting Fri evening 7 thru Sun 9th? I checked out listings on pokeratlas but most show the daily tourn's during the week. Have they pretty much dried up here and just cash games mostly?

beaupoker.com is the site for beau rivage poker and shows their calendar of events. The weekend tourneys are decent and there is a $15k and a $20k guarantee on two of the saturday's during the month.

Has anyone played at the Golden Nugget. What's their poker room like. Like it or not and why. Just wondering. I usually play at the Beau when I'm in that area, and I and some friends will in Biloxi sometime during the beginning of December.

I am interested in some small stakes mix games. I love NLHM and Omaha but some other games would be nice.

Anyone going to the Biloxi area, if you are a member of any military, active or reserved, national guard or retired military, give Keisler Air Force base a call. Sorry I don't have their number. Keisler has lodging. I paid $35.00 last time I staid there. Rooms are clean, though not fancy.

I have not stayed at Keesler, but I have stayed on other airbases and I agree it is a very good value. Only difference is last time I stayed in one it was $10 a night lol. $35 is a a steal though.

Beau Rivage in best option. Hotel rate is $79/99 based on 5 hours of play. 1/3 and 2/5 are uncapped and play significantly higher than normal. Staff is excellent. (Disclaimer: I managed the room for 8 years, and moved from there January 29)

Yeah. Beau took over and has the uncapped games too. Very OMC reg infested.

I believe 3-6 months ago when they did a little remodel in that area by making it into a small Asian gaming area and adding a noodle place...i never saw poker running there in the 50+ times I've visited.

The beau blows away every other place, though I've played in a few surprisingly good cash games at the IP with a good mix of players (also played in some WPT deepstacks events there that were soft...they will be having wsop circuit coming in september).

Going to play at the scarlet pearl for the first time in the upcoming 30k gtd in 2 weeks. I've been to the casino many times but haven't played poker there. Apparently this is the 3rd 30k tourney so I'm assuming the first 2 ran well.

I have comped rooms there on the weekdays but would have to stay at harrahs or the nugget if I want a free room on the weekend so I'm not sure which legs I will play.

Anybody have any experience playing at the pearl at all? I don't see cash games running too often there. There's also going to be a fun series in August there from card player with cheap buyins and fun game variations.

I happened to be there when HR closed, it was end of last August. Couldnt play though cos firmly in the hand of zombie 25h+ players in the hunt of promo cleanout.
The only two rooms running more or less reliable NL were BR and IP. GN had NL one night but only limit games the other nights. I've been to SP once but only had a limit game.
Generally I wasn't too excited about the poker action there. Unless you're in the area anyway better go to FLA or NOLA
