that's a pretty awesome schedule. Like that they have a badugi/2-7TD event and the triple stud event is cool. I think it is Binion's that usually has a series that correlates with WSOP events @ 1/10th the buyin
would be nice if PS/FTP2 would follow merge and implement PL Razz games...I think that would draw more ppl to razz and would make for an awesome wsop event!

It looks like my little sis has come through with the goods. Flights were looking like ~$1200. She works in the travel biz and can get me a standby seat for $370 so I will try and get out on the 6th or 7th or worst case the 8th.
I'm also looking for acommodation but I can't 100% commit in case I don't get on the flights. That said as I'm also travelling alone I should be OK.
What are my options? Can you cancel a Vegas hotel on the day? It is pretty standard in Europe to do this before midday or even 16:00 without penalty.

Booking this week for a few days around June 17. I'll either be playing the $1k NLHE event or the $230 Stud Hi @ Golden Nugget, depends on how I feel about my NLHE game and bankroll going in.
This is going to be my first year being able to play at the series. I am super excited. The first stud8 event is the 1500 and I will still be in school during this time which really bums me out.
Question: If i am a stud8 specialist how good are the stud8 tournies in terms of value? I have played around 2 dozen tournies and lots of 10/20-30/60 stud8. Should i think about trying to satellite into the $5k?
Also just curious how long you can stay in vegas before you start to loose your mind in a hotel room? Would it be worth it to try and buy some couch/blow up mattress space instead?
