This sucks super hardcore for me. I'll be out of the country until the 10th, and have to be back for July 4th, so I can't play the Stud, Stud8, Razz or KCL events. If not for the cash games I may not even bother going.

I run bad at calendar.

it couldn't happen more perfect for me. My cousin's wedding is the week after(phew) and being that the event is fri-sun that means minimum vacation time i have to take from work. Annnd Allegiant airlines offers extremely cheap tickets from Laf- Vegas for thurs/sunday only. Yay

are you disappointed the stud8 isn't 10k this year or does it not make a difference?

stud8 has a 1500 and 5k "championship" event. I see no reason why razz can't be like this. His reponse is "i don't see a reason for it to be added"...WTF

This sucks. The only event I was looking at was the $1.5k Stud Hi on May 31. I have an ISO audit on the 29th and 30th. This would be my first WSOP and I'd probably feel pretty uncomfortable racing out the door on the 30th, dealing with jetlag, and trying to play my A game, so I might take a pass

The Razz clashes with half term holiday in the UK. Since the kids started school this was when we had our family summer holiday.....

I hope flight tickets aren't too hiked up, Mrs Banzai appears to be OK about it all at the moment. I need to decide if I have a couple of extra days before or after the event.
