Stud8-10/20 Basic mistake on 3rd?

Im hoping to jam out the high hand w/my c/r.
Better to just lead(maybe hope 35 raises) or just c/k, or does it put my hand face-up.

The more I think about I feel like leading is the best play, but seems weird since I have the second best high & lowhand.

As played I feel the hand played itself beyond 4th?

Re: Stud8-10/20 Basic mistake on 3rd?

Would have to do some math, but it seems clear that seat 2 has either a set or aces up+, which makes me want to cap 5th like a boss and drain seat 3's bankroll.

But yeah this is fine.

Why would the K fold after calling one bet or why would the 53 3-bet a hand he wouldn't otherwise raise?

You want to jam 5th with a 3-card low and a 4-out high draw?

Re: Stud8-10/20 Basic mistake on 3rd?

I'll usually flat-call on third. If you never raise with in this spot, however, you run the risk of being too easy to read. You're in this game and I'm not, so you should have a better idea of whether this is a big deal or not.

You should expect your check-raise on fourth to tie the King on if anything. You want it to be two bets to him. As played, he calls two bets on the installment plan. I bet out, not so much to entice a raise, but to not let on that I'm not crazy about the Deuce.

If you're folding the river, fold to the check-raise on fifth instead. If you really think you're up against trips, you've got four outs, two of them somewhat tainted. I probably don't fold the river getting 17:1 myself.

Why did you check-raise 4th with just a pair of deuces, you have the worst of it both ways.

Lead out into them, there is no reason why they should assume you paired, you may get raised by xx53 and that might clear out xxK7 which would be great for you.
