arriving in vegas the night before the 1500 stud 8 event. Any of you ever play the 215 single tables for any of the stud games? are they worth playing(as far as ev and are they at all a decent warm up for the actual event or just a crapshoot)? Any other warm up choices besides these and the 50/100 stud8 game at rio?

Which 1.5k do you guys think is softer the stud8 or stud? (I've played the stud8 but never the stud)

It's hard to replicate tournament Stud8. The single table sats won't really help you adjust. For EV sake just play the 50/100.

They're both softer but Stud8 is a lower variance game so bads have a harder to going deep in it.

If you look at past 2 years of WSOP Stud8 1.5k it's probably like 50% known players.
