Anyone know the rules to this game? I know it involves 4 down cards with discarding at some point.

We play 6 card stud, 9 or better for lo in a home game.. One less card , but one higher option for lo hand.

1 down , 1 up, to start, than 1 up, 1up, 1up, 1 down.. You end up with 2 down cards, and 4 facing up.

Having that one less card , makes lo hands a hell of a lot stronger...

I'd think low hands would go down in value. You're only allowed one brick then after that you can't even make one. You also never get the multiple streets of free-rolling like you do in 7-card. It's an easier qualifier of course but I still think I'd like my high hands better in this version than in traditional. You absolutely do not want to play a (2-card) razz hand very often at all I wouldn't think. Even the nut low starter in this game (A2s) has to be in pretty bad shape against a good high I'd think.
