I'm trying to imagine a scenario where I want villain to fold only his poor equity hands and continue with his decent ones and I can't. That's what you force him to do in every hand you complete from the bring.
You prevent his poor-equity steals
You pay extra when he has a quality hand and raises
You demonstrate an interest in the pot in a game where ambiguity is your biggest weapon
You don't get a raise in when you have a concealed hand and villain would otherwise complete a wide range.
Just seems universally bad.
Quote:
what if villain chooses to limp in on 3rd street with a 100% frequency after hero bring-in for the min
Then you win enough 4th streets that it doesn't matter that he didn't fold on Third. Fourth street shows us half villain's hand so we can make a very good decision in a small pot.
