Does the equity justify the call? what I like about the call is that if I catch a king, the 7 bricks I can c/r and get the pot hu ahead. This happens almost never though. but same applies if a spade hits.

Whats the bottom "type of hand" you call with here?

I don't see how it can be a bad call getting 7:1 with spades totally live

This is fine, I think some of the time you can peel one on 4th too, but folding isn't bad.

Mmm this must be pretty close, I think. I peel 4th but I'm not 100% sure what's best.

Are you sure the 7 is opening that tight? With two lows under his 7 and spades completely live, I'm inclined to raise 3rd.

You can fold 4th as played when you catch the worst card in the deck in this smaller pot and they botch catch perfect.

Re: stud 8 defend this hand on 3rd or to marginal?

chips: does pot size really have any influence here after catching one of the literal worst cards in the deck?

i.e. are you still folding 4th though even if you raised 3rd street rather than flat? i can't imagine ever calling even if it was 3-bets on 3rd.

Pot size is probably the most important influence on whether or not to call, followed by how likely they are to jam you.
