Could you please explain for newbie why Stud High most popular on PS in cash and least popular in tournaments?
For example right now there are 15, 7 and 9 Tables playing Stud, Stud8 and Ruzz
But number of players in last Weekly - 32, 61, 102; last Daily - 41, 80, 81

What stud cash games usually run at Rio during wsop? I seem to recall a 20-40 razz and 50-100 stud8 game this year.

20-40 razz isn't regular, but was there much more this year than in years past. 50/100 stud/8 runs constantly.

I would like to play some stud 8 there this year but 50-100 is probably too big for me as I don't think I'm good enough at the game to sell part of my action. Maybe I could give it a shot if I run good between now and then. How tough is the game?

It seems like this is only live venue that spreads stud 8 where it's not part of a mix.

Do any lower stake stud 8 games run? Like if I was to go out for the big 500 buck NL event, could I find a 5-10 to 10-20 game?

There are some smaller mixes like TORSE and triple-stud that run sporadically. I'll be trying to get straight stud lists going this summer as well. I'll start them in both sections and see if they ever go.

I've never seen the 50-100 game be too tough to sit. Even when there are champions in it, there are also always action players.
