I'm trying to build my roll again from couple of bucks and I started playing razz from lowest limits (.10/20,.25/.50). I need some answers:

1. I recently watched videos from DC "From stud to donk " series and they complaining all the time about ante structures on stars. On FTP ante was 2x bigger then on PS and all stealing, defending bring in situations was a lot more profitable. What do you think about really tight game (even nitty) on lower stakes and not involving in marginal stealing spots ??

2. What's the average winrate from a good regularplayer in razz? Can someone from 5/10 or higher tell me sth about that..

out of all the limit games, razz is by far the game with the biggest attainable winrates imo - i wont say mine, but no complaints itlr

if you're playing those limits, i'd suggest a nitty style and not worry too much about stealing the tiny antes in marginal spots. maybe you're sacrificing a bit of your winrate itlr, but variance goes way down (this is a GOOD thing, learned the hard way 100x over). your goal should be to get out of those stakes and into higher games, so just play solid and worry about tuning aggression levels later on imo

Unless Stars changed their ante structures since they kicked out US players, most of their limits do have small antes compared to the bet sizes (with 2/4 being somewhat of an exception), so a nitty game is correct in general. As Sleeve said, it will also control your variance which is helpful for sanity and roll building as well. One disadvantage to playing the lowest limits is the rake eats up many more BB/100, but usually the awful play of random opponents will make up for that.
