Playing razz on the FT of a small 12game tournament on SwC. Top 3 pay, 6 left.

1st hand:
Limits 200/400 with 40 ante, 80 bring in, I have 1.5k and am the lone shortstack
xxT brings in
xxA folds
xx9 folds
(T7)A completes (hero)
xx2
xx6

Is this too loose to complete as a semi-steal? What if I weren't shortstacked/not a tournament?

2nd hand:
Limits 200/400 with 40 ante, 80 bring in, I have 1k and am the lone shortstack
xxK brings in
xxA folds
xx9 folds
xx8 folds
(57)T limps (hero)
xxA

I'm pretty confident this isn't a complete but is it too loose to limp? Obviously the ace is going to complete most of the time and I'm going to call, but I am a slight favorite vs an ace and two random cards. As before, what if this weren't a tournament and/or I weren't shortstacked?

Hand 1, complete is fine, we are statistical favorites here, I don't see a lot of upside to limping here given the door cards

Hand 2, we are too strong to fold but a** is small favorite, not really sure whether limping or completing is better with our exact stack size, there are several factors that would influence my decision here but limping is probably better

Hand 2 I think you could fold or limp/reraise and try to get t all in on 3rd so you can realize all of your equity. It would suck to fold 4th or 5th when it breaks bad not knowing where you stand.
