please post in this thread if you want Pokerstars to set up crazy pineapple stud8, half pot-limit stud and razzdugi for ZOOM.

In for triple stud or stud8. Stud8 would be most sucessful in this format

S, S8, R or T-S ZOOM, I would love it!

The main reason to petition for it is that it'll probably make the non-zoom games sooooo much better. Although it'll also kill them. That's what happened with PLO8 on FTP. Everything south of 1/2 went away all the way down to about .10/.25, but THOSE tables got so much better.

Why? The appeal of zoom-type games is that nits can play hands continuously instead of 1/5. But... loose/terrible players *already do this*. So why would they like zoom? Rush PLO8 just became huge nitfest territory very fast and the normal tables became gold mines.

I wonder if it would fare better than the Zoom 5 card draw. That said, Im in for Stud and Stud8

After ,Holdem, PLO and omaha8 limit and pot limit, I would rank stud8 as the 4th most popular poker game. Should do better than the 5draw

i agree that stud8 would be the best choice (and stud would be very good, too).
no matter if its standard, crazy pineapple or half-pot-limit.
stud hi would be great to disturb the cheating chinese,
they will get utterly insane, trying to share holecards in zoom, lol.

i think any stud8/stud would benefit from half-pot-limit to attract new players
and avoid cannibalism of the straight limit tables.

Stud8 Zoom. Do it, do it, do it.

What is the point? Currently there is 0 people playing LHE zoom and 0 people playing higher than $0.05/$0.10 omaha8.
Why would stud games be any different.

it would be great if there were enough players for zoom. The problem is 1/2 the time there are not enough players to fill a regular table. Is it a good idea to thin the field even more by spreading out the players to zoom?

i prefer not to post, if i have only negative things to say, but everyone is different.

stud games are perfect for zoom, because rembering the board-cards is way easier at 1-2 zoom tables than it is at 4-8 normal tables.
in addition, the half-pot-limit format could attract new players who are sick of holdem but not stupid enough to play micro/smallstakes PLO, where rake is 3 times of the winrates from good players.

stud hi is very popular, but cheating chinese ruin the game,
if stud hi zoom would run, they would have a hard time to cheat.
