I am not used to 8handed stud HI but your line seems good enough but I myself would raise the guy that just calls the bring in especially when he/she has the highest card in the ring it reeks weakness and you can easily bet automatic depending on how much Q-high will miss. If you get called by the 8 and the 7 you still have outs for higher pairs together with your str8-draw.

As played fold seems correct but I myself am such a fish so I would call and chase backdoor str8.

edit: I think it is ok to call in 8handed games, just took out a book that ive had for a couple of years that is about stud Hi and it says not to overvalue str8draws on third street. But if you was playing 6handed or fewer it is a given raise on third.
