Hi.
Playing PL-R frequently atm, I need some advice and thoughts of the razz geeks around here. You dont need to have played PL-R, but general Poker (esp. Razz) knowledge maybe can help me out.
On third street no opening size can be chosen, either limp/fold or raise to 3.5$. Both player are fullstacked, 100-120BB. Although the tables is 66BB Max.
Aggressive and dynamic heads-up play is going on.
Player 1:
3rd street: Is questionable, but depends on dynamic. Raise size is standard. 11.05$ or something would be possible.
4th street: Unbalanced the bet-size is obvious and exploitable.
5th street: I don't know what I would've done here. Checking behind seems not to be a big mistake.
6th street: Same as 4th.
7th street: Hero can never call a ship, unless Villian never shoves a 9 for Value there, which is unlikely. With a hit and 115$ in the pot and the read that it's unlikely he beat a 86, I would raise a 875 here 100% when he bets 3/4 Pot or more on 7th and our stack is 66BB. Would be 55$ more for Villian to win 345$. With 100BB a raise with a made 8 only is possible when the previous mentioned reads are very realistic and/or Villian can't bet/fold as many FL-Players do.
Player 1:
3rd street: No other option than opening, 4betting is only an option if Villian would be passive on third and way too loose on 4th or 5th.
4th street: In aggressive games potting is usual, even on early streets. His 3/4Pot looks suspicious because of that. It's a call.
5th street: B/f is no option but would get Villian to fold a paired 4 or turning his hand face-up (9-draw or rough 8-draw) by only calling, knowing that we would be committed to a raise. Commiting by betting with 35-40% is no good idea for Player 1.
6th street: Again Villian is betting only 3/4, that made me think the 87 draw is most of the times 100% live. Player 2 is holding a poor 9 or has paired.
7th street: Hero can never call a ship, unless Villian never shoves a 9 for Value there, which is unlikely.
Thanks for any reply.
