i was thinking about playing the $340 HORSE on 1/29. but i'm probably like 5% to make it at this pt.

i feel like MTT are going towards bizarro forms of NLHE tourneys at the expense of less common games, which sucks.

i'll make it out to the bike or commerce for one of these tournaments sometime, i guess. not sure about this one, though.

I'm there Feb 17/18/19 and leaving early on the 20th.

I checked in today. I'll be running interest lists for ~40/80 HORSE variations for a while. Playing the next two HORSE events in the meantime.

HORSE tourney was standard I guess. Lots of older gentlemen, and internet wizards. Regular mix of people who don't know wtf they are doing ( cold calling raises in O8 from sb with QTK4r etc ). It's definitely worth playing, but blinds tend to get a bit top heavy going from 400/800 to 600/1200 and on.

The Stud tourney, which tend to be some of the worst field value generally, was really good too.

Flying to LA tonight and will be at Commerce tomorrow. Apparently I have to reclaim a bunch of money that has been left there.
