I have the "B" version which has a network connection and maybe an extra USB port, not sure.

It retails for $35 in the US, I also bought an SD card with the OS preinstalled and an RCA cable to connect to the TV in the kid's playroom. Cost me about $70 including delivery. I could sell for a decent profit on fleabay but I'm going to keep it for now.

1st plan is to make a box for it, going to go for a Lego home build to give the boy a good chance to help out then decide on a project.
