I have some pics in my camera, will see if I can upload them today.
The basic idea is, it was sold to me bolted to a bench already. The dude put the whole thing, bench and all, onto the bed of my truck (with a fork lift)
I already have a bench I was going to put it on, and getting it out of the truck while on this bench was going to be impossible.
So I put jacks under one side of the bench, and cut, say, 6" off those legs. I lowered the jacks so that side was slanted and then removed them. Then did the same to the other size - now the bench is 6" shorter on all sides. Rinse and repeat. When I was down to just the "top" of the bench, I unbolted it and "walked" it to the end of my truck bed. That is, you move one end of the lathe forward a bit and then the other.
I backed the truck up to my work bench and wedged a board under the middle of the lathe bed, at the center of balance. This let me swing the lathe horizontally without having to vertically lift any weight. So I swung it around so that one side was on my work bench and the other side on the truck bed. From there I basically just backed the truck up as far as I could, which pushed the lathe onto the table more. When I was basically touching the bench with my truck, I just pulled it the rest of the way myself.
This is it here: http://www.grizzly.com/products/10-x...al-Lathe/G0602 For scale, it's about 4' wide

I bought it used. I could have paid someone 100 bucks or so to take care of it for me, probably. Or hired a few day laborers for an hour or two.
But that's not how I roll.

That PM you got is a bit misleading - there is no vig, but you pay the bank tax and its a big percentage, I found it to be higher than 9% at times. You will get a no commission exchange, but you will pay through the ass anyway.
Best bet is to hook up with anyone who is headed back to Europe that week to make the exchange at the daily bank rate hand to hand. Someone will want to convert dollars back to Euros at no penalty just as badly as you want to convert to US dollars, with a little shoe leather and a handshake or two it should be pretty easy to do. Scott can probably help you out the fastest, I should know a few people too but I will only see you at night so he should be your go-to guy to make this happen.
See u in a few days!

We are currently evaluating a couple of potential changes to our Fixed Limit games at PokerStars. If you would like to give your feedback on these changes, please do so here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/53...games-1209621/
Thanks

Took me all day though, started at 10 this morning and it's 7:30 now. Of course I was only really working for half of that, since it's so ****ing hot outside I came in and rested every half hour.
Every time I move one of these ****ers I think about either getting an engine lift or installing a crane with a winch. But then I get done and think, "that wasn't so bad" and don't do anything.

For Rusty "that wasn't so bad" = "I survived, with all limbs still attached"
