We are considering changing the way antes are collected in our Stud games and would like feedback before implementing any change.

Currently, in our Stud games, each ante is individually collected, one after another. However, in our Deep, Ante Big Bet games, we collect all antes simultaneously, saving a short amount of time at the start of each hand.

We wanted to make sure there wasn't an unforseen reason/objection against making a change before doing so, even along the lines that there's a consensus players are used to the way antes are currently collected and wouldn't like to see it changed.

should have been done a long time ago imo. Also don't give the person who doesn't click "autopost" a chance to play the hand b/c it holds up the game. Nothing was more annoying than waiting on someone that didnt autopost to post. While we're at it, implement an 'autobringing/fold' feature like FTP had. Having to click twice to post the bringin and then go back to your table to click 'fold' was super annoying.

+1! I can see the logic to collecting antes in turn in a live game like say, a WSOP tournament, to prevent the inevitable question "ok, who didn't ante??", but I am confident that stars' software can correctly identify the laggard and give him/her x seconds to post before sitting him/her out.

If anything the objections are all to your current method, which makes people wait.
