PTS does not come with a HUD though.

PTS has a "kind of" HUD. Just not as functional. It's in a seperate window, and you have to manually enter player names. SI, has the HUD right on the table automaticly, but it doesn't really offer the database PTS has. Honestly, SI is great if you're feeling lazy and don't care to remember dead cards for a session. SI is also good when you want to practice your dead card memory.

So what percentage of people have a program to track dead cards? Sounds kinda shady to me but thats just my opinion.

Every person has a program. You can easily just write them down as you play in the chat box, built right into the client. You can manipulate the chat box to show you the cards dealt out. Or you can just write them down on paper as you play. It would be silly to pay $70 for a solely redundant program.

I use PTS, but nothing to track dead cards. I just remember them and the more you do it, the easier it becomes.

Only started using SI last month or so. Also felt it to be a bit 'shady' but, in fact, PokerStars explicitly allows you to use it. I don't use it to track dead cards just to display opponents' stats...it paid for itself within 15 minutes

Started using studindicator but it seems to freeze my tables sometimes.
Does anybody have similar experiences ?I have already talked with the software support but they cant find a solution for it.

It used to freeze for me on my old computer when i had it open on more than 4 tables, It's very resource consuming
does it freeze even with only open table open?

It happens randomly .Sometimes i only have 2 tables open .I have sessions multittabling 4-6 where its running ok .
Strange thing is that it freezes other tables to which the studindicator software isnt attached to.
This has only happened while playing on stars.
I even talked with stars support with no real progress.

Is the statement about "being allowed" at http://www.studindicator.com/faq.php still uptodate?

btw, "pokeit.co" has been around now for quite a few months, it works fluently, has a lot more options, covers all games... but HUD is not yet released, yet.

EDIT: Guess that's the answer http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...26&postcount=3
