How to play this structure in a stud hi tourney?

I played in a 100+30 live stud hi tournament with 20 entrants. Each round was 30 minutes long. Starting chips were 600. Cap is bet, raise, raise, raise. The structure was

Round 1 Ante: 5 Small Bet: 5 Big Bet: 10
Round 2 Ante: 5 Small Bet: 10 Big Bet: 20
Round 3 Ante: 5 Small Bet: 20 Big Bet: 40
Round 4 Ante: 10 Small Bet: 40 Big Bet: 80
Round 5 Ante: 10 Small Bet: 50 Big Bet: 100
Round 6 Ante: 15 Small Bet: 75 Big Bet: 150
Round 7 Ante: 20 Small Bet: 100 Big Bet: 200
Round 8 Ante: 30 Small Bet: 150 Big Bet: 300
Round 9 Ante: 40 Small Bet: 200 Big Bet: 400
Round 10 Ante: 60 Small Bet: 300 Big Bet: 600
Round 11 Ante: 80 Small Bet: 400 Big Bet: 800
Round 12 Ante: 100 Small Bet: 500 Big Bet: 1000
Round 13 Ante: 150 Small Bet: 750 Big Bet: 1500

The bring in was the highest card (not the lowest card) and they came in for the small bet.

I want comments on how to play this structure. My thinking is that high ratio of ante:big bet in the first couple of rounds meant one should open with a wider range of hands. For example, in the first round most pairs with live outs should be played to fourth street because the pot is offering 1:10 or better when the player can make a set at 1:21 or make two pair 1:14. But one should tighten up as the ante:big bet ratio goes back to the standard 1:10.

In the first rounds, betting on the come for drawing hands should be done as long as there are three or more opponents on fourth and fifth street. The pot size is big relative to the bet size, so opponents are less likely to fold.

Because people should be calling lighter, the requirements for raising hands should also be lighter.

Stealing the antes shouldn't be attempted in the first couple of rounds. The high card brings in it for the small bet (not twice the ante). The high card is more likely to have a playable hand than the lowest card. The pots odds that the bring in gets for defending against a steal are huge in the first round, but by the fifth resemble standard stud.

High card brings in for a forced complete, strange indeed.

I basically think just looking at it like a bring-in who has folded out of turn with a very aggressive opener and proceed from there. Like if an Ace brings it in for the forced completion just look at it like there was an actual bring in who folded out of turn and you're facing an UTG completion by a guy who's completing blind w/ that up-card. Adjust for pot size and other factors like you always would.
