Welcome back!

I was on table 4 and there were 98 players in this tournament so I played with a lot of the same guys for like ten hours or something. There was a guy on my table who spent a lot of time on his phone. I made some snide remark about it and he said a family member was very ill. Oops. This tournament started at noon and another one started at 6:30. The evening tournament was a "tag-team" tournament. There were 97 pairs of players and 140 re-buys (!). This guy's brother wanted to play in that tournament, so he was splitting time between the HORSE tournament and the tag-team tournament. He was clearly distracted and was barely hanging on for quite a few hours. Obviously, he wound up taking second place. There was a third player who started at table 4 who also made the final table. The winner was the drunk from my Omaha post.

He is probably far too modest to admit this but JFPL is one of the best albums of the last 20 odd years.....documentary on making of with input from the great man...even mention of poker as well!!!
