Are you talking about "Stud" being moved to the "Other" section ?

It's a bit weird, I don't think everyone got that update. I use two computers to play poker: one runs windows and another runs linux (PS via wine). And there is still a "stud" visible alongside OMAHA on my linux machine.

^ No, it was more the way is displays X tables at a limit rather than being able to see from the lobby how many seats are taken and by whom - maybe it is customisable but I haven't had time to look in detail yet.

I still have Stud in it's own section on my PS - I use a Mac fwiw....Hope it still shows who is at the tables as I have all my lovely colour codes so I can go fishing...

It is there - need to choose the left hand option immediatley under "7 Card Stud" in the lobby - as you were no need to panic just yet.

What's the most BB you guys have ever won in a limit session? Won ~95BBs last night in an 8 hour sesh. May have been my funnest session ever.

Actually it's a half kill game so not sure how baby BB you would consider it, but damn the deck absolutely ran me over last night

I've won 2k in the old Gulf-Coast style 10-20 limit omaha games. That was with 2 and 5 blinds and an optional 40 on the river. I also had a $1300 win in a $.05 - $.25 spread limit 5stud game over 24 hours.

But for a regular fixed limit casino game, prolly less than 100 BBs.

I wonder what my biggest loss was. I put a lot of my old stuff in an SQL base, but am a little reluctant to search for it...

I won about $1,500 in an 8/16 O8 game this summer... so 94 BB. Good times, probably took about 7 hours.

Why do most live stud players fold by turning their up cards down and then putting them under their down cards instead of on top of their down cards? What is the advantage as this seems like more work?

I've played stud live and I don't really find this to be the case. For whatever reason I mostly see people flip their upcards using their downcards and then push them in.

You are less likely to expose an unseen card that way. If you lift your cards to muck them, the previously-exposed upcard is on the bottom of the stack, and the only one likely to be glimpsed.

electrical, I was very unhappy to see you recently rejecting the efforts of earnest door to door music salesman. Support the arts man.

+1. Also the upcard acts like a spatula to scrape the hole cards off the felt and lift them up. Also this is the way Phil Ivey does it.

I've made the final table of the HORSE tournament at Canterbury Park again. I've now played in four live HORSE tournaments and cashed in three. Both previous cashes have been the minimum (eighth when eight were paid at CP two years ago and fifth when five were paid at Running Aces this past March), so I'm hoping to improve on that. Two years ago I headed into the final table with something like two big bets and this year I've got more than six. I posted a Yamaha hand if anyone cares.

I was watching some college football at CP last Saturday while waiting for satellites not to start. There was a player named Brandon Harris which caused me to chuckle. Then I went in on Sunday to make my football picks and there's a copy of Card Player with the other Brandon Harris's picture on it...

Mack, I posted it in the O/8 forum. It seems to be somewhat less controversial than the razz hand I posted two years ago.

I took sixth. A $40/80 HORSE game sprang up, so naturally I had to play in it. My tournament prize was $1700, I ran it up to $1500 by the time I got a seat, was all-in at one point, up over $3000 at another, and managed to escape with $700. Clearly I still haven't learned a damned thing about bankroll management, but holy cow this game was juicy.
