You're right. Played the hand yesterday and posted it without looking at it again. Would probably help if I looked at things before posting no? I'm getting senile in my old age...

FWIW w/ all the 6s gone, it seems unlikely the low would have a straight and QQ might get you to fold two pair... probably best to lead out though if he's gonna take that line

Re: Boycott PokerStars Stud/Stud8 games until they clean them up

My English is not the best, therefore I have to use the google translator.
I have a few weird things noticed in the last few days, since the Chinese are not allowed to sit at the same table.

At a certain stack (about $ 7xx), the player ferthh22 went to Sitout.
The player comes in hopefi22 the waiting list.
ferth22 hopefi22 leaves the table and comes to the table and go sit out on 2 hands. Then replace both return to their places and ferth22 comes with $ 200 back to its old place.

I hope, u will understand my posting better now

Was this at a limit game? If so, who cares?

As far as I remember, ratholing is an issue at PS because you can buy-in for only 5BB.

If it was a $20/$40 table, then I suppose that's a significant issue.

Re: Boycott PokerStars Stud/Stud8 games until they clean them up

My past experience in Stars' stud w/ multiple guyz from Fuzhou/Changle
is quite similar to others' experiences ITT.
I've brought it up in LC a few times a year or so back.
Since draw was introduced to FTP a few month back, I neither have the inclination or the roll to go after these guyz anymore.

But I learned my Stud in Cali, so I CAN PLAY DAMN NEAR AS LOOSE AS THEY DO.
[NOTE:this can be dangerous as all f*** 2 ur roll. be careful!]

I just always sat to their left when I could, and assumed they had a Durrrr-wide range,
even when they're running squeezies.[they do!]

There were always more beatable/profitable games there. I hadta be in the mood.

I'm convinced I've seen a few jack-it-up scenarios like Joe Tall described in stud hi ITT.

Caution: PROVING COLLUSION IN STUD/8 IS A BASTARD, ESP. FOR STD. SQUEEZE PLAYS.
Pulling up suspect HH's for stud hi and razz will prove out collusion much easier.
[yes, a couple of them have moved to razz on Stars as well. not many, tho.]

Re: Boycott PokerStars Stud/Stud8 games until they clean them up

F### Forever is a 2p2'er, Biertanks steal isn't bad, the only whose play is wtf is carly who might have misclicked or is just bad. Either way I wouldn't be worried about this type of collusion.

For the most part I think there is no collusion on stars at least not at 5/T+, the only people who could be colluding are the eastern europeans.
