Its pretty obvious to everyone those chinese acounts are working together, yet stars disagrees. I have lost alot of money to those acounts in the past and they are wrecking the integrity of the game.

Of course PS disagrees......lets do some basic thinking....

USA - banned
India - dodgy at best
China - god knows but biggest population in the world
Russia/Ukraine - another huge population, some people with SERIOUS amounts of money..

Maybe this simply lesson in demographics explains why PS doesn't care the Chinese or Russia/Ukraine players collude away and/or seem to manage to avoid bring-ins (or in 1 case flat out cheat)......they are a business not a registered charity...

Does it totally suck - yep; but unless another site comes along with a range of Stud/Draw games we're pretty screwed - it's called being a monopoly...

After all these years, nobody has shown conclusive evidence. Yet, deep down, so sure are you of Chinese malfeasance that innuendo carries the day. So, clearly, all Chinese should be banned. And if Pokerstars has not done so, this incriminates them too.

+1. And claiming that Stars is rigged to keep chinese players from getting the bring-in doesn't help your case.

Player pool is so small though that it essentially will work out to more short-handed hands with 2 possible colluding players.

Definitely still something going on. I play stud8 cash, not too high. From what I've seen from the stud high games going at the moment I won't touch them and will possibly give up on stud8 soon too.

There is one Chinese player who me and another reg have noticed regularly comes to table plays one hand and sits out, only sitting back in to play another hand if they are about to get booted of the table. Possibly info mining?

If you look and it's not that hard to spot, there is a 'code' to most of the usernames. I've been building a (small) database of who I think is involved in the stud8 anyhow.

I complained a year ago and was told although the user names and chat were almost completely identical for example JOHNY456 V JOHMY455 it was a coincidence. (Possibly but the chat and insults were pretty suss imo).

Also can we get a petition or SOMETHING going to sort out the ratholing in fixed limit. So common and although less of a problem than in PLO/NL it is still frustrating watching a person take cash off the table and resit the hand later with minimum buy in 6 times in a row during a session.

Again, pokerstars reply was a big spiel about the NL/PLO ratholing rules then included:

"Moreover, this rule is not enforced in Fixed Limit games where there are no restrictions on players leaving a table and returning at any time as long as they can make the minimum buy-in."

AFAIK: If you are in sit-out, you don't have INFO on mucked cards, so possibilities for "info mining" are the same as if you just watching the table.
May be they are waiting for weak players to come?

Has anyone heard any updates on the Chinese player situation in the Stud8 cash games? I see some decent spots in the 5/10 and 10/20 games going but more often than not there's 2+ Chinese players in the games.

The Chinese just like stud HI, a lot.

I've been farting around there almost every Sunday and always have action and sitting out's there. I label every chinese player with the same red label, when i saw three red labels in the same table i saw something wasn't right.

For example, "goodlucky" plays every sunday and now i can't find him out. I see some chinese players but none is a regular. Some low stacks. Is running $10-20 without a single chinese player.

Maybe someone can contact the PokerStars support for information, since i can't play because my country closed the market so they will not give me information.

The information I took from my contact with the PokerStars support was that they applied a non-restricted police on tables with the stacks $ 0,04 / $ 0,08 and $ 1/2.

They said those Asian players will continue be tracked and that they are thinking about moving this police to higher stacks.

In my personal opinion, I think they did the right thing. I'm one of those persons that don't agree about cheating among this community because I didn't fond a single hand that comproves that conspiracy. I've read every single post about this matter and the only hand everyone can show as squeeze is a 3-way pot with two Asians with hidden pairs against a possible pair of Aces.

That police is very restrictive for Chinese players since they are 50+ players in two or three tables available per-day. Also the action is very tiny nowadays and action almost never goes more then $ 2/4 and once a week a $ 10/20.

PokerStars thought correctly about this matter because they had a double-edged sword in there hands. They had a community that wants to play and contribute with rake, the Chinese players and some regulars that play against them for years. In the other hand they have some 2+2 aficionados that stopped playing Stud because the two Chinese per-table wasn't restricted enough.

So if they have Chinese players that want to play but they can't and they have a small community that doesn't play them even with the old police, the best thing they could do is more then one Chinese per-table.

While some American Hero's say they cheat because they can't beat them long-term, other say that they lost there main source of money.

I'm 80% sure there's also collusion at Stud Hi FL $0.25/$0.50
They create multiway pots, raise you, when you fold they go check check in between each other with fresh air.
Few of them have insane winrates with super loose stats as well.
Doesn't matter if it seems they are from a different countries since it's not that hard to use proxy locations and IP addresses.

Back to 4 chinese at one tbl ,all play the same style...

I see a lot of discussion about the "China" players and since a few months pokerstars removed the ban from 2 players to unlimited players allowed in the stud games.

I have been a winning reg since 2011 and play almost everyday up to 1/2 stud high.

I disagree strongly that they all play the same style and feel confident that I'm not being pushed out when I play vs them. Above 2/4 I am not sure and would never join a table with two Chinees players.

I see ACR also have some stud games running, but not sure how save it is to deposit money and how long the withdraw proces will take?

I have an inseane winrate at that limit and I'm 90 procent sure there is no collusion.
