Hey guys, I'm fairly new to stud and would like to know which books you think I should read. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

stud: Seven Card Stud for Advanced Players
razz: Sklanksy on Holdem
stud8: Hi-low Split Poker by Ray Zee

I think Rusty means Sklansky on Poker, but that's your list. For stud/8, Todd's section in SS2 is very good.

The Razz book is also available as "Sklansky on Razz" but it is no longer in print.

Hah yeah I mean Sklansky on Razz (which is in Sklansky on Poker, and which is NOT out of print (it's for sale in the 2+2 store)

Lots of reviews of books in the book forum too if you search for them. If you do read the razz section of Sklansky on poker, three words of advice: check his math.

Actually I had some different math results, so I'm not alone...

I asked three statistical experts to resolve some math problems and they all give me the same results. If there will be some errors I'll kill em, instead of razz lol

Also, check out the WSOP's of the decade on YT, as they did televise some HORSE and Stud 8 events, as well as Razz and Stud High.
