What else is in the mix? Typically how long are sessions?

I went to LC on a whim a few years back, drove 10 hours just out of boredom looking to gamble it up, there were two to three 2/4 LIMIT HE tables running at Isle and two to three 2/4 LIMIT HE running at labeurge. Unfortunately I couldn't find a cliff to drive off of...

lol you drove 10 hours specifically to go to LC or just passed through it on the way to your destination? I hope not the former . Although L'aburge just opened their poker room not long ago so you must be thinking of a different casino. Plenty of NL action at both Isle and labeurge now.

We do holdem,o8,razz,badugi, 2-7TD,stud. Apparently they haven't gotten stud8 approved but are working on that and chinese poker.

I definitely wouldn't drive that far for our game tho, lol.

I finished college, invited a girl from Houston to go on a little road trip, scooped her up on my way through town and drove that far SPECIFICALLY for LC I hadn't been and thought it would just be a fun little weekend. I thought I had played at LB, but maybe I am mistaken, but for sure there were 0 NL tables running at all this weekend in LC. Whatever the case, driving from L'B back to the Isle late at night on that tall curving overpass I ran over something that busted both driver side tires. Had to buy an extra donut because nowhere in Louisiana had the size tires I needed without ordering them, had to drive like 50mph from Louisiana back to Houston... Guess you can see how awesome this trip turned out. /derail

I am thinking of making another trip out there one of the next few months and will definitely prepare accordingly making sure there are adequate games/action. I'll probably reach out to you as the time gets closer as I am always up for some mixed games!

Bump.

I finally played this game for a short bit last weekend when it was 30/60 and shorthanded. Was a decent game w most of the table on the weak tight side (as much limping as completing on 3rd) and 1 guy who obviously liked to chase.

Didn't play long as it was obvious game wasn't lasting long and I got called to start a new 2/5 with a bunch of fishy looking players.

All right so wait. I asked a few months back if the 20-40 stud Hi games was still being spread and was told it was dead ( in part because most of the old guys who played it were also dead). So now 20-40, 30-60, 40-80 stud (hi only) is being spread on a regular basis at the Bellagio?

Sort of. It's been going most weekends but my impression is the game is often shorthanded and breaks early if it does go.

The infamous Doug Lee played in the game tonight for a few hours! He lost, but he was a perfect gentleman.
