The other day I went to whataburger and my total with tax was exactly $13 and the number they gave me was #13 so I'm thinking 2013 is probably going to be pretty whataburger.

speaking of which. Interior is 95% finished. All that's left are the door panels and they are prob done by now. Car should be ready by xmas...

Only thing not original is the radio. They wanted like $600+ for the analog radio; so my dad got an up to date digital that resembles the original.

Are there any good books published recently about modern fixed-limit poker theory? I thought I'd ask the stud players since most stud is played fixed limit, but it could be about any format or just fixed limit in general.

Many of the internet players who post here have come up with really good stuff on identifying ranges and developing lines of play, but since this is the age of NL I don't know if any good fixed-limit material has been published recently.

Published, not recently, no. Great stuff has been written, a good book went unpublished. The MSLHE forum is very active here, the games are phenomenal all the way through high stakes.

LHE is starting to out-live NL cash games in California, as Mason has predicted years ago, or maybe it was Sklansky, or both.

I saw a tiny resurgence in Vegas at Thanksgiving. Some of the old 20-40 and 40-80 players from the 90s, many of whom I hadn't seen in 10 years, were in action--sometimes in smaller games--maybe waiting for bigger games to start--at the Bell and the V.

I don't think I've read MSLHE since 2005. I'll check it out. There used to be some knowledgeable and hysterically funny posters there.

I also recommend reading this: Matt 'Hosstbf' Hawrilenko interview, it has some refreshing game theory material in it.

Whammy Stud 8 is incredible.

You put a joker in the deck. If the Joker appears on your board, your hand is dead. If you have the joker at showdown, your hand is dead. If you win without showdown while holding the joker you get one sb from every player at the table.

Whammy PLO is also good. Same showdown and bounty rules. If the joker appears on the board at any time, the whole board is scrubbed, money stays in the pot and you play the hand again starting with the flop.

That is all.
