Back in the day, I used to play on Paradise and on 3rd with a paired door if you made a small bet instead of the double bet then raises were of it could only be small bet raises.

At PokerStars for example, this is not the case. A small bet with a paired door on 3rd can be raised by a double bet.

Is Pokerstars standard in this or is the Paradise method more common?

Hi Al,

The way I've always understood it, the Pokerstars version is correct.

4th and agree the pokerstars way is the most common (isn't really a correct imo) I've seen.

I actually have never seen it any way other than the pokerstars way. A paired door on 4th means anyone can double bet.

Standard is first bet can be big or small; if small then raise can be big or small; if raise small, then reraise can be big or small, etc., but after a big bet is made, all further raises must be big.

thats all correct.

but few times unless you are against really bad players and you have trips over their upcards ,,you should bet the max.
