Very sad news. Logged many hours with him at the Commerce listening to.countless stories of Chip, Stu, Puggy and other original legends. Was always awesome being seated next to him...I will miss him!!!

he played the opponents well. that is what i believe separates the good from the great. and where you make your increased winnings come from.
that included reading hands great, not from putting players on ranges but narrowing down to close to the exact hand based on all the clues you get that are happening right now.

he only played seven stud. maybe played a few other stud games but not profitably likely.

he never stayed in money and owed everyone under the sun and rarely paid back unless he had to. other than that he was a good guy. but when it came to money it was just fun tickets for him. drugs was his real downfall, as during the coke craze he went berserk

Hi Everyone:

I also knew Danny and played a little bit of stud with him, and consider his passing sad news.

Two things not yet mentioned is that Danny had become a religious man when he was older and this May have helped him to beat his drug issues. Second, I think it's fair to say that Danny, perhaps more than anyone else I've ever met, lived life to its fullest.
