it most certainly does not.

The taj game seems to most of the time, but it's not so good.

I hear the benefits sort of suck though.

I'd think anybody good enough to beat stud for a good living would be smart enough to do things/play other games in addition to stud.

This is true of live games, also. I used to jump into the old Bellagio game occasionally, when the players would wheel in their oxygen tanks, but they wheel them no more....

That's living the dream.
Back-room stud games have virtually disappeared in the States. They are almost all flop games now.

Depends on the town. There are enough mid-stakes (20-40, 40-80) HORSE and other mix games that run in Chicago to play 5 nights a week. They don't run like clockwork but there's definitely action.

Stud only is rare even during WSOP.

Hi!
What about these Chicago games?
I played over there and, generally speaking, I found these tables tougher than Las Vegas counterparts. Is it a wrong impression?
Thanks!

I can't really compare to regular Las Vegas games, since I rarely play there except during WSOP. Of the regulars in the Chicago games there are about an equal number of competent players and players with obvious deficiencies, and the better players will certainly be sitting if the weaker ones are. I think they're good games, though I have heard stories of better. Making a living in these games without playing NL or PLO would be tough.

Thanks for your answer elec!

And, please, keep staying away from Vegas tables
