I have not played that mutch 7 card stud so thats why im asking, is it possible to make a living out of 7 card stud? Let's say you would need 5000$ a month, before taxes. If possible, at what stakes?

Yeah I wrote $5000 to be a base line.

so if you wantt o make 60k/year then that's 1000BBs. You won't find steady games 30/60+ online so that means you gotta play live (25-35 hands an hour) Say 30. IF, big if you are a 1bb/100 winner then you gotta play 3.3hours to earn a BB. 3.3*1000 = 3300 hours.

You'll have to play 9 hours a day every day of the year. Gl and report back to us.

Not sure how I saw this but I'd say the commerce 1/2 stud could be your only shot.

Hard way to make an easy living.

You could try 10 -20 us live 40 hours a week.If you are good 25 to 30 an hour is possible.
The main problem is finding the games,Foxwoods and Mohegan run them last I heard and there are games at the Commerce.
Online the games are not there anymore, the player pool is dying off, I do not joke.Stud is not really a game that can be 16 tabled at micro stakes and the rake is 5% so even 3/6 hardly ever passes the 3 $ max so stars get their full whack.
So to cut a long story short,

The answer is yes if you live on the US East Coast

The 20/40 in AC casinos is highly beatable.

$31.25 is less than 1 BB per hour and if you can earn that it's just a 40 hour work week.

Only problem is that the games may eventually die..so no guarantees as the current population gets too old

Razz would be impossible though imo

Stud Hi/Lo and Omaha Hi/Lo should be the other games you play if you want to make a living playing non hold'em
