I don't know about this particular V but I think most good nits will be able to adjust and exploit a k/f or b/f strategy here pretty quickly.

The guy knows he is thought of as a nit and must see how people react to his raises and bets. If I were him I would be free showdown raising and semi-bluffing quite a bit. If he is generally a good poker player I think the more you and others b/f against him the less it becomes correct to do so.
