I am a frequent visitor of the borgata and usually log in using their portal and reward site, I am able to see my express comps etc. Just tried logging onto my mlife account and shows I have 0 express comps? Anyone know how this all works and no I didn't search I was lazy. Like to make a visit to mgm Springfield and maybe have some free Rooms

comps earned in the poker room do not get transferred to express like at the borg. they are good for food only and you have to ask the floor to transfer the amount you need to be used that day. they are not transferred to express, they are a separate food comp.

you will not get free rooms for poker only afaik

Stay here this weekend was great. Good action at 5/10 NL 2/5 NL and 5/5 PLO(when it ran for 2 hours lol).

Confirmed pretty busy with the MTT running. Long lists and room is packed.

Making a note to myself that if I can't get here before noon on a MTT day that I need to play elsewhere that day.

Good to know, because I actually called them Friday and asked if the tournament was going to impact the available dealers and tables for cash, and they confidently said no. Was the tournament held in a different area than the main room. I’ve never been up there so I don’t know the setup.

Not sure how any of the floor could have said that to you because the tournament absolutely has an impact on the number of cash tables if you were looking to come anytime between say 10am-4pm. Tournament is right in the room and I’d say around 10 of the 30 or so tables were used for the tournament yesterday causing the big wait list.

Thanks for this information! Luckily I was skeptical enough of what they told me to not make the drive. Aside from these one-off tournaments, have they been running any other weekend tournaments / is thrrr a tournament schedule - I searched but wasn’t able to find one.

There is one every Sunday. I haven’t played it so I no have idea on number of normal entries. They posted a schedule for February on their Twitter. I don’t see one posted for March yet.

Tournament info is also available on Bravo. You can also call ahead to mitigate wait times.

Came here for my first time today , got there about 11 - had 25 people on wait list for well over an hour

They then opened 2 tables at once at 12:30

Games were amazingly fun for 12 on a Monday , saw some guys at a 2/5 game splashing 300-600 dollar pots every hand

Overall really nice room , dealers were fast , had an issue cashing out at cage...

I came with 1 full rack of 5s , + a half rack , + 4 greens & some whites

She counted it 4 or 5 times , first time she said she owed me 650 , then 700 , then 750... finally got it right at 852 , there’s a huge line of people behind me and I actually think they miscounted my white chips , she gave me $852 but I believe I had about 855.

I don’t often play live and there’s a huge line at cage , so I just said that looks right and took my cash. Was a very strange experience

Does anyone have a rough idea of how many people on average enter the M-Th NL late morning tourneys typically?

I showed up April 3rd after the morning tourney had ended but the clock was still up they got 29 players. I stayed over signed up for the Thursday morning one we got 3 and it was cancelled. I also played on a Thursday two months ago and we got 19. So it’s seems pretty random.
