I'm moving to Chicago soon and was wondering how the 5/10 action was. I've heard some bad things about the 5/10 games being ridiculously nitty and without action. People have suggested that I play at Grand Victoria Casino or Rockford Charitable Games. Can anyone give their input on how good the action is?

Sometimes great sometimes not worth playing. About what you should/would expect.

Machine Gun Steve = the dealer who is a super tryhard and thinks he's better than he is so he deals way too fast and makes tons of mistakes, and who has an attitude when players take too long on an action.

I have never played in the 510 game but i heard the game is better at gvc. Rockford only has 2/5 but is a match stack game and can play huge with a straddle every hand. And there r some players(drunk Tom) waitting to give there money away. Potawatomi's to 5 is pretty good too with a Max thousand-dollar cap only runs usually on the weekends

Mix is 50-100, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The Thursday 30-60 doesn't really run anymore. Mix will be dead though during the series as most players are out there.

I won the random seat high-card drawing for the $1100 WSOP Main Event Satellite tonight. Has anyone played in the previous week's satellites? I'm looking for anyone that could give me an idea of the field, how many runners (typically), etc.

Thanks in advance

IMO, there are too many 2/5 games and too much switching tables for anyone to really remember anyone. I think that there are maybe 4 players total that I have an opinion that really matters.

Disagree with both sentences. Whether the players are good or bad, your opinion on them should matter, no?

I play 5-10, so don’t really keep tabs on the 2-5 players

I'm going to be coming to Horseshoe for the first time in mid-August. I'm staying in the Hyde Park area and will be heading to the Horseshoe around 4:00-5:00 on a Saturday. I'm taking the train into CHI, so will be carless.

Coming from Hyde Park, I'm assuming an Uber is the best way to get to the casino?
