Appreciate the info, how do they advertise this stuff when it is coming up??

Bravo Live app, poker room flyers, and signs usually on the ad screens at Winstar.
Sometimes on the website or facebook.

Per Bravo, the lack of limit games is frustrating. They only seem to get enough players Fridays and Saturdays starting around noonish. Occasionally on Sundays.

Pre Covid it was guaranteed a limit game would be running no later than 10am 7 days a week.

Anybody know how the Labor Day Series turned out? Don't see it on HendonMob yet.

I played in Thu $300, and there were at least 130 entries. $1,000 main got just over 400 entries (total both starting days). Paid $88K for 1st, but heard a 4 way chop was done. Took about a month for Memorial Day series to show up on HendonMob, so plan to check for individuals there in future.

Does anyone happen to know if the information for WinStar on bravo poker live is accurate?

I'm just now getting back into playing for the first time since before the pandemic, I and I've been watching WinStar on bravo poker live all week. There hasn't been a single 5/10 game listed, whereas before the pandemic, there was always at least one table, sometimes 2 or 3 tables every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Also, there doesn't seem to be very many 2/5 games according to bravo poker live.

Also, right now, it shows that there's only 7 tables open, which really doesn't seem accurate.

Haven’t been back to WS post COVID but have watched on Bravo. Those games seem generally consistent with what I have seen over the last year. That is one reason I have not made a trip there. Def less games on Bravo than pre COVID. So either there are fewer games or Bravo has been messed up for over a year.

Al’s don’t forget that Dallas and FW both have gray market poker rooms now. Legal or not is undecided but def a shorter drive for much of WS clientele.

Everyone just plays in Dallas now unless you have a spouse who wants to play slots. I was playing at The Fort this weekend and a couple of guys were talking about Winstar and said the 5/10 never runs anymore. All the DFW games are on PokerAtlas.

I wouldn't expect 5/10 to run at Winstar much, if ever. The TCH Dallas match-stack 2/5 game tends to play bigger than the Winstar 5/10. TCH Las Colinas now has a $1500 cap 2/5 game. I think that cap will incentivize 5/10 to run more often at TCH Las Colinas. As of right now (Monday 1pm) there is no 5/10 running but there are 9 on the list and there is a 10/25 running with 5 on the list.

In regards to Winstar, I've heard the games aren't too good on the weekdays but are good on the weekends. That's likely in reference to 2/5 though.

I don't use Bravo anymore, but I do know that Choctaw also took some business away from Winstar post-pandemic.

To answer your question, yes, the Bravo info is accurate. I've sat at a table and compared Bravo to the board.

Sad the amount of traffic they've lost although it's still busy Friday evenings and Saturdays. Sundays not too good though.

i know this is a long shot, but......

i'm looking for 1 or more players who may be driving to/from WSOP 2024 from texas and wanting to stay around 2 weeks or so. i am driving out there due to fear of flying & medical issues, and need another person(s) to drive with. i (42m) will be staying with a buddy of mine (25m), at horseshoe. we are chill, no partying on the strip, no slots/pits, just focus on poker during trip like real poker junkies. we have gone for a few years now and really enjoy the series, look forward to it every year. we are mostly cash players, with some tournaments mixed in. my friend is flying in. if you want to room with us, that would make it cheaper for everyone (if not, that's cool).

i have made the drive for many years now. it is a 2-day drive, solo, ~10 hours per day. but maybe can make it a super long 1-day drive with myself and one or two more people to split driving. obviously we would need to meet as a group beforehand, make sure we get along, can stand each other for long drive. also, will be using my vehicle (roomy, nice 4-door truck). i will eat most gas expenses, since this would primarily be accommodating me.

right now, looking at May 29-June 12 timeframe. but i can be flexible to adjust to everyone's schedule.

PM me if interested. looking to get booked soon.
