It was all your fault in the first place because you did not sit in the lucky seat.

There are over 100 casinos in the US. Almost every one of them had a kid playing 2/5 with $3100 or more. The large majority of these kids lost it all back in an hour or two.

Which one? There were a couple of them the "other day". OR do you mean the kid that was there a while ago? Or are you talking about the player whose nickname is "The Kid"?

Bump.

How is the whole scene when the big tournaments run?
Any stories from last year?

Does any one know how the games will be on the week of featured tournaments?
Would they run mixed games and other games that week?

Lots of good NL action, best of the year imo. Not sure about mixed games, none I recall from last year but don't take that as gospel.

What is the structure for the Tues tournament? Starting chips, time levels? Is it still filling up? if so, what time do I have to get there to get a seat?

1/2 can actually have some very good play depending on your table of course. 2/5 can be very tough I've seen very good players there.. I've only had 2 sessions at 2/5 and one night did very, very well and another night did very, very bad but that was more about my running than the players.

At both 2/5 table sessions we definitely had some fish sit down, but honestly most of the people at the table were pretty good and a you could tell several were regulars...

When's the best time to play O8? they always offer it but I've only seen them run it a few times, and I was too busy getting my ass handed to me playing 4/8 LHE, which I swear people play like baccarat at Winstar.

It depends on the time of year. If it's during a week of a holiday, it fills up fairly quickly(Registration starts at 4 for the 7PM tourney), fill up is usually around 6ish. They do take alternates, but they only take them for the first hour. I'd recommend getting there around 5 to get a seat.

Structure is 25/50 with 3000 starting stack. Blinds go up every 20 minutes, break every 3 rounds. The start with gradual increases, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, then they do a double.

Most of the times I've played(~5) in this tourney, it's pretty easy to clear past the idiots, many times I've gotten it in with TPTK against TKWK or middle pair. Some of these people are willing to stack off with very little. By the end though, it becomes a shovefest because everyone is stuck around 10BB. From what I've had, a deal usually get's thrown around when there are 20 people or less.

The times for a good PLO8 Game is when there are more people, which is usually Friday Evening-Sunday.

I will be there next weekend since it's a holiday weekend and you tend to get some extra tourists there.
Honestly man, I have seen that the 2-5 game is mostly regs and rounders at WinStar. If you're good you can win, but it's not easy pickings. The 5-10 game they run on the weekends though is pretty fat, and usually pretty loose. There are several regular players in that game that have no business playing poker, but have more money than sense. If you're fearless, that's a great game.

I suggest taking the drive to Shreveport and playing the 1-2 at Eldorado there. They have a buy in structure that enables you to buy in for 70% of the big stack, so there is always a ton of money on the tables, and the action is really loose.

You're confusing LO8 and PLO8. No PLO8 at Winstar. PLO8 at Choctaw.

LO8 goes typically on the weekends, as has been said about a hundred times. Friday nights, Saturday days.
