Are wait times still be pretty bad during peak hours? I'm thinking about taking the 5:30 bus from Boston to go play 1/2 all night, but I don't want to wait 2-4 hours to get on.

Someone just asked about wait times for 2/5 and 5/10, but I'm guessing wait times for 1/2 will be different.

I knew they had a no hoodies with the hood up rule, didn't know there was a no sunglasses and hat rule. I want to say I've seen players with both before.

I was there from 5 - 10 PM yesterday and there was no 1-2 list the entire time and almost no 2-5 list as well.

Guys ,

How are the games Wednesday and Thursday nights? Does 2/5 run? Any limit games? How's the wait? How are game conditions etc - never been down but want to give the room a go this summer.

Management is terrible xept for a few, dealers are mostly terrible (coz old asian ppl = cheap labour). Like i saw a guy make a $100 bet and dealer mucked his cards in the like the 5 seat and pretty much screwed him out of $100...

However the games make up for it all usually pretty good on all days xept the mornings (IMO), games are spread coz of 5/10 and i think usually 2 2/5 tables going which is good a lot of 1/2 games i think, only 3/6 limit.

Your better off going to foxwoods if it's closer to u

Yeah, I played almost exclusively at TR for 18 months. The whole time I was told that FW was dried up and no games were running. The 2/5 at the woods is alive and well. The action isn't as good as it is at Twin but there are more tables and you never have to deal with the really bad dealers and floors. **** that happens freq at twin never happens at FW. Plus at FW they treat you like a human being. The floors at twin treat you like you are a nuisance that has to be dealt with

Yeah most gov't run casinos don't care about customer service or who they hire, as opposed to clubs or very professional venues like foxwoods which host WPT's etc.

They host WPT events?

FW used to have a WPT event each year. Then they switched to WSOP Circuit events. They have one this August. The schedule is on Card Player but not FW's own site.

It was sarcasm. Their last WPT event was in 2011

Nope. The only thing I dislike about about the situation I'm in is the drive. 20 minutes vs 45 minutes.
Honestly, I have 13 letters from dealers and 4 letters from floor people all in support of me..those letters combined with one of me apologizing would get me back in but I haven't even started writing mine.
Between the $60 in free points per week on top of the points per hour, the concert tickets, free rooms and free alcohol, I'm actually quite liking the woods
Plus I hear from lots of TR regs, who have been playing at FW, that the action hasn't been there lately

Also flattered that responding to my post was so important to you that it brought you out of a 7 year hibernation

I took a picture of a player and posted it on fb. Something a lot of people have done. But in this case the night before I told a certain female floor person 3xs that she doesn't have the knowledge to work in the poker room. So she encouraged the player to file a complaint.

New expansion coming along nicely the wall is built. Carpet in and the first table has been delivered.

On a fun note. After check shoving the river with 9 high flush on a paired A board (knowing the villain had an A or non nut flush hoping he'd lay it down ) and losing to second nuts I was down to 10$. Yes. 1 blind (5/10) IN the bb. I turned that 1 blind into just over 88 bigs haha. Fun to finally run good for a stretch

Funny thing is that I thought it was.

You have no idea the events that led up to that happening. The guy is a dick with a napoleon complex and everyone who saw it on my fb agreed.

There are no events that would make what you did the right thing to do.

First time I played 5/10 at TR, I turned 2bb in the sb into 80bb. If I hadn't done that I may never have played 5/10 again and would not have won all what I did this past year. :SeemsGood:
