HI iTz! The 5/10 is $300 Min/no Max...the game did go but I can not comment on how it was, I didn't play lol!

Game was solid. No money in 5/T everyone is solid. I suggest you raise the buyin from 300 min. That's so shallow for a 5/T uncapped! Then again I guess it allows random fishies to take a shot more easier but I think it's just bad for the game overall to allow people to come in so short. Just my 2 cents. Overall a good amount of action this weekend, but kind of depressing when it got to 2 tables around 5am lol. degens gonna degen

5-10 should definitely not have a min of 300, bad for the game

it's only good if people are willing to instantly take a shot after they win a pot at 1/2NL but considering some of the nittyness that I witnessed at Turning Stone this weekend I highly doubt that happens often.

Please update this thread whenever the 5-10 no limit game goes off. I live a little less than 2 hours away and am usually available weekends. Seeing as the 2-5NL game is heavily raked, I don't feel like driving such a long distance just to give my money to the house, but the 5-10NL game is pretty fairly raked (7 per half time I believe) I would usually be able to come by when I am available (generally Friday and Saturday night) if the game gets off. I was told by a floor person that the game rarely runs (at best twice a month or so, and usually only during tournament time) but I figure if we can generate enough interest through this website and hyping up the game to the live reg donks (preferred) that we can make it a regular weekend thing. Keep in mind that the min buy in is only $300! That is the same as the max buy in at pretty much every 1-2NL game I have ever seen in any casino on east coast. This should make it much easier to get interest from random (blackjack, craps, etc.) gamblers who are looking to enjoy the Cadillac of poker. I look forward to seeing this game going more often.

Hello to all, just to be clear, we do offer a $500 min/uncapped 5/10 game here at TS since my arrival, all you need to do is start a list. The $300 min has been here for years and most people tend to gravitate towards it out of habit. Thanks!

What kind of limit or non-holdem action would you have typically tomorrow? I'll be coming in for the first time in a while and would prefer something like a 4/8 or 5/10 game. Either limit holdem or HOSE would be great too.

Used to play more when they had 1-5 Stud and Stud weekly tournament.

Would consider playing NLH except my brother is going to be with me and we usually prefer limit. Willing to donate $500-600 tomorrow, it just needs to be in fixed bet amounts =)

Hello Snipers, The Omaha game runs every Friday from 9 am on thru the night. The 5/10 usually get going later at night but 20/40 gets going around 1pm. Hope to see you here!

Oh OK thanks for letting us know. I have only been to your casino about 3 times in my life and never really asked about a higher min buy in 5/T game. BTW how often does the 1-3 game go off and what are the buy in requirements (min and max) for that? If you could uncap the 1-3 like they used to at the Golden Nugget in AC years ago I think you may see a bit more action in the poker room. Just my 2 cents.

300/2000 means 2000 cap right?

I imagine that most of the names on both lists are the same, right? My phone is charging now but when it's done I will download the Bravo ap and take a look. I'm a Bravo rookie, I never used it before but I have heard of it.

did the 5-10nl start tonight? Also I learned that they spread a deep 2-5nl (200-1000) and even BETTER THAN THAT they also spread an uncapped 1-3NL with a (either 100 or 200 or 300 min I forgot, ill try to edit this when I look it up again)

If that game can go off I promise I will buy in for 9,000 and play 1-3NL. You have my word. Can we get that game going this weekend? It will be fun and I'll definitely reraise very light preflop with lots of suited junk

Hi Poker Duder, not sure how long its been since you played in one of our major guaranteed events, but I can assure you that the structures (both payout and blind level) have been adjusted and tweaked over the last 14 months( with player input) to provide a better tournament experience for our guests.

On the whole, we pretty much double every Guaranteed event we hold here at TS and to be honest, the structures we currently have in place have not been a source of complaint or concern among our guests since being implemented over the past year. Please feel free to contact me directly to further discuss this issue or to provide suggestions or feedback!!! frank.foti@turningstonecasino.net

Always great to hear from the gang here at 2+2!!!
Frankie,
I haven't posted in a while, and I know this is a couple weeks old but...

Bolded- I've never understood why if you're confident in doubling your guarantee, why not increase the guarantee. Sure, what you're doing is working out.. But who's to say if you have a 500k gtd, or if you do a 1mm guaranteed you'd not crush it? I feel like turning stone has a huge potential to become a bigger venue again on the east coast to hold big tournaments. I know there is a risk with a higher guarantee, but you're a casino... the whole experience is a risk! I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

Any interest for 5-10NL or deepstack 2-5 (200-1000) or uncapped 1-3NL today? I want to play poker but I will not make the drive out there for the 1-2NL kiddy games. Even the 2-5NL regular game is pretty dry. I'm looking to gambooooooooool.

Agreed. I been saying this for a while. Bigger GTD = bigger crowds.

More rebuys if they know the prize pool will be bigger.

any interest for 5-10nl this weekend? I could consider a drive out there for 2-5NL (deep) or 1-3NL uncapped but I'd much prefer 5-10NL since it's a time drop game instead of rake and a much better deal for players. I downloaded bravo ap and if I see an interest list of over 5 names I'll happily call my name in and drive down.
