Re: Trump Taj Mahal (Atlantic City, NJ)

Saturday day and evening a group of 2-4 omaha players and 15-30 two-way players had a 3-6 two way game (omaha/stud8 hi/l) going all day and all night w/a list!

Nice ! I remember a few years back when this game went frequently.
Does it have a chance of going this Saturday ? Is it listed on Taj's self-signup list ?

Re: Trump Taj Mahal (Atlantic City, NJ)

I was told getting the list started was easy, but getting subsequent greeters/floor to put you on the list was met with skepticism the game existed...be persistent...someone start the list Saturday, and everyone else be persistent to get on it. Meanwhile, another development worthy of note: I have seen a 1-3 NL game going on the past few days, buy-in $100-$500. I do not understand the point as tier points and comps are same as 1-2 NL. game has been going with players who usually play 2-5 NL.

Thanks for the intel. I'll be there Saturday between 1-2PM and get the list started.

I wonder if they used the .50 pieces for the ante in the stud half ?

Did not use .50 pieces for the ante in the stud half, - no way the the 2-4 omaha players would play, just a $1 bring in... ( I had no problems getting on the list, but in 12 hours never got into the game, presumably every time I went over to revel for a quart of smoke-free air my name was called...)

Re: Trump Taj Mahal (Atlantic City, NJ)

FYI...3/6 OE game went last night. Game was called around 3PM, no one showed up. They called it again around 6 or so, and I played until 10:30.
Fun game, pretty loose. We played the O8 half with a full kill to 6/12 @ $50. This made the action decent. Had to use an out button for the stud half since the game was 10-handed. Would've liked to see a .50 ante though...

A few of the 2/4 O8 players said that they would rather play this than wait for a seat in that game. Also, there were some of the old 5/10 O8 players in that game. It looks like this has a chance to go on weekends, and Taj has it up on their electronic waiting list. Good times...

Re: Trump Taj Mahal (Atlantic City, NJ)

There was a list until well after midnight, and it was still full when I left at 2. I got there at 7 and was 4th on the list, spent about an hour and a half at 1/2nl before I got called. Good game, I'd definitely play it again. Thanks for mentioning it here; I wouldn't have gone to the Taj last night otherwise.

we played until about 5 am, great game! We had a lot of fun, - like the time we ran out of cards on sixth street playing the stud h/l ten handed!

Your description of your 1/2 game makes me ask if you are the gentleman who had quad jacks in one hand and then shortly after that flopped Kings full of nines in your short stay? If so, it was nice to play with/against you and I hope you enjoyed the spoils.

The loser to your (KK)K99AQ! I was in the nine seat and made the crying call on the river with AQ even though I was sure your checks on the flop and turn told me I was beat.

It was nice to have played with you. I almost joined the mixed game towards the end of the night. Maybe next time.

Aha! You dodged the quads, though, right?

Except for my stab at it on the flop when you and the lady checked to me. I bet my King-high flush draw but when you check raised and she called I knew I was way behind and and my second nut flush draw had no chance.

Is anyone else having trouble logging in to their trump one accounts? Tried to log in last night and today, all it says is "Sorry, we are unable to log you in. Please try again later".
