Does anyone know what type of LHE games are spread here? Do they run anything bigger than a 2/4 or 3/6 game? Looking for places other than the borgata that run a limit game higher than 5/10?

Would be great if this room could get something going. Tired of Borgata's Poker Room management negligence in a variety of matters and repeated dealers mistakes and bad attitude. Looking for an AC room to take advantage of their multitude of mistakes. I can definately try to do some recruiting. Borgata has done it in the past.

Trop was the place to be 5 years ago tons of stud and limit....2 pink games 4-8 up the ass if the trop could ever pull itself back together it's a great place to play...wasn't high on the dungeon feel but all in all a great spot to play cards

I also thought it was a solid room. It started to decline in 03'-04' after Borgata opened, but really crashed in 2008 or so.

On a typical Saturday, Trop would spread 1/2 & 2/5 NL, 2/4, 4/8, & pink chip LHE, 1-5 (then 3/6) & 5/10 stud, and 3/6 O8. Pre-poker boom there were higher limit games, and some bigger stud (and h/l) games also.

Not to beat a dead horse but if u look at the trops 4-8 game they used whites and reds....u play at Foxwoods they use $2 chips....they white red makes they game so much better.....

All kidding aside the "old" trop room was in my opinion they best poker atmosphere in ac....more so then the borgata and taj,,.

I really hope one day they reclaim their turf...I remember Friday Saturday nites playing 15-30-45-45 with the band going outside...no casino could match that

How many runners can I expect for the tourney at 11:15am?

Sorry, never been to AC on a weekday. Wouldn't guess more than 10 people though.

Cash games should be packed til the BBJ hits. Now up to >$470K.

Hello all. I was here at 2-3am Friday morning and room was effing packed. Thought this was weird on a thurs. Nite/Friday morning then I saw bbj is like $475k. I'll be hitting them up this weekend instead of taj/borgata. Also, they had a 2-4-6 lhe game that was decent.
That is all.

Got stuck in a huge traffic jam on 95 last night going to Chester so did a u turn and went to trop instead. Room was packed, my table hit quads 3 times but no bad beat. Sould be up to 480 today.

Drive is a pain though so back to Chester for me

Don't know why, but when I lived in New Jersey I always preferred the Trop. Always made good money there. Live in Arkansas now, but glad to here that the old place is doing well.

Did this bbj get high fast? I don't recall the bbj being in the 200k's...or did I just not pay any attention to the Trop?

near 500k is ridiculous

It's been a long climb. Need quad 8s minimum to qualify

Not bad at all last night. Started new tables up quickly when 9-10 players were reached on lists. They are expecting the rush till it is hit from what the dealers were saying

The BBJ is probably around 500K by now.

I went there on Saturday and played in the 7PM tourney. I do have to say I think the tournament fields there are softer than somewhere like Borgata. It's probably the softest fields you'll see in AC. There was plenty of dead money in the game.

anyone going to ac this weekend? dont do it there is a major hurricane on the way :O

that island often gets cut off from the mainland during strong storms like this. This storm has the potential to close down ac for a long time if it hits directly in that area but I will still wait for the last minute to cancel, since it "could" turn out to sea.

Hmmmm it was 492k last night - I was there from 5pm till 2 am and it was 492 the entire time. Room was packed entire time yet it only goes up a few hundred bucks? Fishy!!!

Will be there tomorrow but not sat or Sunday due to the weather. Going to be nasty no matter what with the flooding. With all the rain we got this month it is going to have no place to go Good luck if you go.
