Looking to share structure with friends I'm traveling with. Generally, a pdf of the structure is on the host website. Not the case for this one.

Any idea what % of players get paid in the 100k this weekend? I made day 2, in which I think about 20-25% of players in the field will do. Was wondering how much more work there is to be done before the money. Thanks!

12% Which is why it said any day 1 session would end after either 12 levels or when it got down to 12% of the players in that session.

See you tomorrow, I have 110,000

Probably coming through tonight.

Anyone have a view on the quality of 2/5 v 1/3 here? I've played 2/5 other times I've visited. I like the $1k max buy in but it seems old man/red infested. Does 1/3 play looser?

Not entirely poker related, but maybe you guys would know......

Sugarhouse is airing TV commercials saying $10 free play to new members, up to $300. So I looked on the website to see how to get the full $300, and it says every 5 points you earn your first day is an additional $10 free play.

However, the internet has nowhere that explains how to earn 5 points. So I called Sugarhouse, and they don't know either (besides generic "it depends on how long you play, how much you bet, but all machines are different" and "the machine will tell you when you get 5 points")

Can you earn these mysterious points by playing poker? Does anyone know the formula on slots or tables? Harrah's has a somewhat confusing system but at least it's clear what it takes to earn a tier credit.

Until then I will play my 40+ hours per week elsewhere.
Couple questions. Does it cost you any extra to travel to other poker rooms than it would for Sugarhouse? Are the games better at Sugarhouse then your regular room? Also if you play there regularly you're sure to hit some high hand bonuses yourself right? Just wondering if any of these factors would even out the rake situation?

Yeah, I call 'em Rake Nits. Or more likely one Rake Nit who makes a bunch of accounts thinking that a bunch of anonymous one-post wonders being nitty about the rake will suddenly change the rake structure in every card room across the country.

So don't play there. Problem solved, rake nit.

The RAKE isn't higher. The RAKE is $5. The $2 extra being dropped is a PROMOTIONAL DROP that goes back to the PLAYERS.

Get over this. Feel free to not play there if you can't handle it.
