Snake sorry I did not see this post initially. I was busy actually playing cards this past week.

The tourney usually draws on avg 70 players but it honestly is a SUPER soft field generally.
Most of the field is made up of small tournament regulars that win promotional tickets or satellite into it.

The live action on that day is typically very good for sure. All stakes are in full action.

The payout structure I will post on here when I get back to work on Wednesday as I am not 100% sure, since I typically never work that tournament.

Obviously I am plenty bias, but I think it is most certaintly worth the drive.

Yea 1-2 is good with me but we would need at least 6 Ppl for a decent game I am talking to people who are interested in doing it at the hard rock what ever forum gets more interest is where I will probably go see if we can get a game going

Most certainly get some players and start and interest list. Pretty good chance you get it rolling on a Friday.
Recruit it hard though and I will try to help when I get there at 9, to make the sure the game runs/keeps running.

Seems like a decent amount of interest in this.. I will be down to play in a few weeks, and if there is still interest, I'll post my number on here to make sure it's running. I live a decent drive away and would hate to drive up there and get stuck playing 1/2 nl, which hates me there.

Has anyone played in the 1/1 NL game at silks? There is a 60$ max buy in. How is the rake? Are these games profitable? I used to play 10nl online(like last night) so my BR is short.

the 1/1NL game at the Silks is 20-80 Min/Max. The 1/2 game is 60/200 and 2/5 is 200-1000. 1/1 is a very novice/high hand chaser game. 1/2 has a little more decent players and the 2/5 I hear is gamble-gamble. I saw your post in the THR thread, their 1/2 game is a 50-100 Min/Max and the 1/3 is a 100-300.

On the website it says 20-60. May want to correct that. What does high hand chaser game mean? Loose passive? Is this game profitable with the rake? Do you get comps for the 1/1 game?
