Shadow, what I would do is go to the podium when you get there and tell them what you'd like and that you anticipate a few more people and see how they are structured to go...I do know that rooms have specific ways they have to spread the games based on what they have submitted to NJCC...

Hey Joel,

When do you think you will be there?
Can I join your cool club??

Beaudog,
there's like a 50% chance I'll be heading down to AC this weekend. I'd be interested in playing PLO or maybe PLO/NLHE.

Sure...not a club....just trying to get a game going...

If you are at Showboat this weekend, look for list of interest for PLO, Mixed games etc and get on the list....hopefully we can get something going....

I will keep an eye on the "of interest list" and if it gets to 5 or so, I'll start bothering the floor to promote it a bit and then get it going....

FWIW I started a 1-2 Omaha list yesterday around 1pm. Every few hours or so I would ask a floor person how it was doing and the reply was almost always "we have an Omaha list???"

I didn't think it would actually go on a Thursday night, but I was a bit surprised as to how foreign the concept seemed to every floor person.

I can't make it this weekend, but I'd be into a low limit PLO8 (1-2) and OE, O8 or SHOE (2-4 or 3-6) game sometime. I've played 2-4 O8 and the 3-6 OE games at the Taj but it isn't much fun playin with my grandparents.

Still, pretty awesome that your grandparents play poker.

My grandparents are dead. I was just making a point about the player pool for these games at the Taj lol.

Does the boat ever get a 5/10 limit HE game going on weekends or is 3/6 the highest?

I hope that didn't break the game.

I have seen interest lists 3-4 deep, but I have not seen the game going.

I played in a 5/10 LHE there on a Saturday night about two months ago. I don't play regularly so I can't attest to how common that game is.

name on the list will be PAWR

Rumor is that the 5/5NL & 5/10NL Regulars are moving their play to Harrahs. Any of you in that crew? I don't play in the 5/5, but they were always good for getting the 2/5 going.

I dealt to one of the 5/5NL regs this morning and he did say that many of them would be playing at Harrah's this weekend, but I don't think it's going to be a permanent thing. One of them couldn't get a room at Showboat this weekend, told the rest of them he would be trying out the new room at Harrah's, so a lot of them decided to go over to try it. A few of the regs still showed up around 12PM today and the 5/5NL game was getting started.

Hopefully it's not permanent. We would hate to lose them. You are right about them..they really got the 2/5NL and the 5/5NL games going, and they are all extremely nice people.

We got the game going a few times on the weekends, but it was short-handed almost every time. We always get at least 4 or 5 people interested, but we don't spread it consistently as of yet.

Hey Mike, are you the blonde one that looks rather young? I was there all day Thursday playing 1-2 in the blue hoodie and white Texas Longhorns hat. By the end of the day I had a HUGE chipstack (brag).

The days of good pizza within city limits are long gone. I highly recommend driving out to the Micchelli's Pizza in Somers Point. Well worth the drive

Pepperoni FTW

If you don't want to leave the city, Cosimo's pizza on Texas Ave & boardwalk was reasonable last time I was there, B+

Black hair actually, but close enough.. lol I'm one of 5 Mike's. 4 of us have been there since the room opened, and they just hired one more.
