Posting an incident that happened a few hours ago; I don't play the HR often so I'd like others input on to what else could I have done in this room specifically.
On the turn, 3 players in the hand: board reads x-Q-10-9 with 2 diamonds. $12 in the pot (That is significant in a moment)
I am 2nd to act, waiting for the action to get to me. 3rd player checks out of turn and the dealer burns & turns bringing out the Jack of Diamonds (now flushes possible plus AK). Neither 1st nor 2nd (me) was given the chance to act and immediately say that to dealer. Floor is called and action is explained.
Floor declares that "too much action took place and the J of D plays." Myself, and half the table begin to argue that ruling when 3rd player gets angry over the delay and pushes all in--acting out of turn AGAIN. $100+ into a $12 pot.
The floor says "I'm not arguing over a $12 pot" My instant rebuttal was "It's not $12 now!" Floor walks off, 1st player folds and I'm left with the decision to call an all in.
1. Should the correct ruling be that action on the turn be re-done with the river shuffled back into the deck?
2. Is there another person that I could have appealed to, or does the supervisor have final say?
3. If it was a $500 pot would THAT have made a difference in this room? (clearly it shouldn't)
