Hard rock has had robbery problems

The garage makes it muc scarier.... The isle or PBCK make it much safer because the security guard can see everything

Lots of robberies there for sure. Sketchy situations a lot. Follow homes, garage ganking, entitled crooks who are desperate and/or addicted to pills.

Does anyone have a clue what the rake looks like per hour on average at 5/10? 10/20? 10/25?

Also does 25/50 run often? I'm moving down in October barring some miracle with online coming back. Thanks for the info

wow - I felt a lot safer at HR than The Isle. That's a long darker walk with a lot of open car park at the edge of the property.

You should just valet at the isle- it is free. Throw the valet attendant a dollar or 2 and consider it a cheap insurance policy which also seconds as risk management.

Don't leave anything in your car with your address- just cut that portion off your registration and insurance card if applicable.

When you carry a lot of cash with you it is necessary to be a little paranoid and proactive regarding safety.

That makes sense but as a visitor I had no idea there was valet nor did I think to use it if I had seen it - it's a US thing I'm not used to but will use next time. Out of interest what hapens if the valet smash your car up as the deducable on rentals can be high?

AH sorry man, didn't realize you were visiting from another country. As far as damage to your car from valet, just visually inspect the car before you drive away and if you see something you will have to bring it to their attention.

Liability will vary from state to state. It also depends if the casino hired an outside company to handle the valet parking. To be honest I am not sure if they do or not at the isle or hard rock.

I do know you can check the little box to carry insurance on the car from the rental company upon receipt of the vehicle that will cover you but I am not sure how much that insurance is.

You can just tip when you pick up. I like to throw a dollar at drop off and if they are quick 2 dollars at pick up. If they are slow, just a dollar.

Never felt unsafe parking in the garage or back out in the main lot before they had the second garage. Just be extremely aware of your surroundings at all times.

Hardrock staff,

Will you split the August high hand promotion between limit and no limit HE? As it is easier for limit players to see all 5 cards without much risk. I'm not sure why it was changed from being split to being combined.

Also, please make the game of the month something like 2-5 NL or 2-5-10 NL.

The August promotions have already gone to print, but this is something that we have discussed as a change for September. Do you have a suggestion as to how we should divide it?

The game of the month was introduced to create interest in a game we do not normally run. Last month was O8 and we were able to add a game we don't offer. We have had Omaha every night since June 7th. Next month's GOM will be PLO. The 2-5-10NL game is a nice option and will be brought up as a potential GOM for September. Thanks for the suggestions!

If you have a set amount for what you want to give away per hour split it 75% - 25% or 80/20 between NL/Limit. It really is obnoxious how much easier it is to win this type of promotions in limit. Do I even need to bring up the fact tampa hit almost every bad bead jackpot because they would have 1/2 limit tables running for the sole purpose of winning the bad beat?
