Another water annoyance... I don't personally care about paying for it but why do they insist I pay for it before it arrives?

It's a petty argument but it tilts me also. Must be a Seminole thing bc Hard Rock does the same for alcoholic beverages... Probably because the cocktail servers can't be bothered to resell them if they leave or whatever. Seems like much less of an issue with bottled water though

Wee had a dealer neglect to mention on multiple streets not only that a player had more money behind, but also messed up on the amount. I won't be playing here anymore.

You boycott a room every time a dealer makes a mistake? You're gonna run out of rooms.

I make a conscious effort to avoid being put in a situation where a dealer mistake can screw me. This was not the case in this situation unfortunately. When you cost me money you lose my business. I actually almost always side on the dealers side in most situations, even in cases where I'm involved and get the raw end.

For the benefit of everyone can you take a few moments and provide all of the information regarding the hand that you are referring?

Just saying a dealer cost you money and he/she failed to mention a player had money behind doesn't provide enough information about the entire situation.

Thanks in advance.

There has to be more to this story than you're telling us. What happened exactly?

New guy at the table sits with 50$ (table min) 3-4 hands in he's down to 27. Ep short stack raises to 6, 2 callers including the guy with 27. I make it 26, ep short stack is all in for 26, guy with 27 calls. I ask "you have one dollar left right" no one says anything so I throw out a 2 dollar chip before the flop is dealt and say "Well you only have 1 dollar left so I'll bet 2 dollars blind". Again no one says anything and we see the flop. I don't hear the guy anything and the dealer then goes to me it's 20 to you. I then say "Wait what's going on I thought he only had a dollar left." Dealer replies "no he has twenty behind". I say "Whatever I call". Turn is dealt and he all of a sudden in handed a stack of reds (81 dollars to be exact) and immediately sticks it in (out of turn as well since I had made no action, obviously because I thought there were no more actions to be taken). I say "What the **** is going on you just told me he had 20 behind now he has more." The dealer replies "I told you he had 100 behind", this goes back and forth and the floor is called over and they side with the dealer. Meanwhile no player at the table has said anything in favor of me or the dealer, which lead me to believe they had no ****ing clue what was going on either.

It ends up being 81 to me I call and lose the hand. Had I known he had 100 behind on the flop I would of just stuck my stack in on the flop, maybe he calls and I still lose (I'm obviously ahead on the flop) but the results of the hand in the end are irrelevant. There were at least 3 instances where the dealer should of made it very clear that not only the player had money behind, but also the amount and to not do so the dealer failed to protect the integrity of the game as well as the players involved.

They actually have chip runners getting rebuys there? Or the guy said $100 behind before the hand started and just took him a min to dig the chips out of his pocket?

Either way dealer should make it clear how much a player is behind. Florida is way behind on things like this tho.

While I'm not going to say the dealer did everything right, it's also your responsibility to protect yourself. We're you wearing headphones? There had to be some point where the gentleman alerted the dealer of the $100 he was playing behind, so if you missed that part, then you have to assume its likely the dealer could have announced it and you missed that as well

Strange that the villain bought in for 81- was it his life roll? EDIT- nm 100 buy + leftover dollar.

Anyhow, what seat were you in? What seat was villain in?

Why didn't you ask the villain how much he was playing after the raise to 20?

The dealer apparently already failed to inform you about villain playing behind. No way would I have trusted him.

To not see the chip runner come up and take villains money is odd as well.

Fail Everywhere imo

Maybe he just likes the #81?

I knew a old woman who would buy in for $131 every time she sat down. Something about how she just liked the number etc etc etc

I wasn't wearing head phones. The thing that puzzled me was that no one else knew what was going on either with the buy in, normally I'd expect someone to say "oh ya I heard the dealer say xxx". Obviously there's always the chance that I miss something, but given no one took sides I thought that might not be the case.

I am trying to learn PLO and love the game. Is there ever a low stakes game (ideally $1/2) where I can dip my toe in the water here?

So is the bridge to the poker room open here yet or not? I want to try the room but don't want to smell like an ash tray while doing so.

Not as of last week. I keep hearing mid-February as the current target date.

First time at this place. Usually go to the PBKC because i live in west palm. Heard about this place from the players at the PBKC. Was told at PBKC that I couldnt sit with my $400 at 1/2 even though my table broke. This room is sooooo much better than the PBKC in all aspects. Parking sucks just like everyone says, but it looks like the garage will be done soon.

PBKC needs to get their act together, im gonna campaign for this place like mad- most havent heard about this place. Maybe that will open PBKC's eyes and maybe they will do more for the players. Among all the rooms I have ever played in, the PBKC is absolutely THE WORST!

Good news: The parking garage is now open.

Bad news: You can't go directly from the garage to the poker room. You have to take the parking-garage elevator to the first floor and walk through the polluted, stinky casino past a cigar stand that is especially stinky to another elevator that takes you to the second-floor poker room. A few 1/2 NLHE tables, a couple of 2/5s and a 2/4 LHE table are all that you'll find. The brush person I talked to didn't want to be bothered with starting an interest list for anything else.

Permanent. Construction on the garage and the casino appears to be complete.

It is disappointing ... a couple of poker dealers told me back in December or so that the parking garage would have an entry/exit right next to the poker room. But I guess they were misinformed.

It's as much a pain in the butt and as unpleasant to get to the poker room now as it was in the old place.

I'm very disappointed as I was also informed that there was going to be a tunnel going from the garage to the poker room so we didn't have to go into the stinky casino. It's def still a PITA to get to the poker room even with the new garage, sigh!
