Re: Sands Casino·Resort (Bethlehem, PA)
Curious how is the BBJ split. My understanding is that the 66 get a table share. The 77 grts the loser portion and the straight flush gets winner share.
Is that correct?

77 only had a set, not sure what you're seeing otherwise.

77 has a boat, 7s over 6s. 77 would only get table share. 66 had quads for biggest cut of 50% or 135K with the losing hand receiving the most. 9c10c with the winning straight flush hand gets 25% for 57.5K. If table was 10 handed(full ring), other 8 players would split remainder(25%) of 57.5K each or little over 7K each. Do not forget to tip the dealer out of this too.
Was at Sands 6 times when this hit now and never at table, my whine for today. Twice was at table right next to one hit. BBJ is now at like 2K, if I hit it when it was that low I think I would be more angry than happy.

Re: Sands Casino·Resort (Bethlehem, PA)
The table was 9 handed at the time when the above BBJ hit... and one of the players had missed their BB. So the approx breakdown was 6666 =115k StraightFlush=57.5k
TableShare=9.6k.

Bad beat hit again last night. Same guy who won Friday, won again (apparently) and it was at a 3/6 table.
As an update on the new tables, they're just about ready by the looks of things. Tables and chairs are in, but covered. Tables need felt and a shuffler and it's a go. Hopefully this will allow them the flexibility to spread other games short handed in the hopes they gain traction.

Wait there seems to be some confusion as to whether it was the guy who won the 2/5 bbj or the previous 3/6 bbj (the really big one). (at least according to a previous post).

Not sure. I don't follow the BBJ too much, but that's what the chatter at my table was about. I know a lot of people like to watch the BBJ and thought they'd find it interesting. I could be wrong and it wasn't the same guy from the night before, but a previous winner.

It's the same amazingly lucky gentleman who hit Saturday that hit the big one a couple months ago.

Anyone post a pic of the new look? Where are the new tables (I think it was 7 new tables, and they replaced the big electronic blackjack tables). So the new L is now 3 columns of seven tables, not 2, right?
Odds of tourneys starting with the new tables (better odds to hit the BBJ twice... hmm, well that just happened).

Re: Sands Casino·Resort (Bethlehem, PA)
I might have missed it, but has any information been shared on if/when tournaments will start?

Yes looks like it'll be 3 columns. The railing is still inbetween the would be middle column and new tables.

HOSE interest list at Sands. Nice to see, now we just need players and to make the stakes a little higher.
