Definitely 1K max min may be 200. Idk I've only played a few times since it went to 1K max and always bought in for 500

Don't buy in for 200 in that game. It plays pretty deep your better off in 1/2.

Despite the $1k HH promo, wait was reasonable late afternoon. Arrived at 3:40, sat at new table in 10-15 min. By 9pm, room was full.

Can you call in to the waitlist at Sands for 1-2 or 2-5? Parx allows you to call in for 2-5.

busted out of the black chip bounty tourney earlier. what, you're not interested in my bad beat story? too bad. blinds at 300/600. UTG+1 raises, MP reraises, i ship with AA and about 18BB. guy to my left ships, UTG+1 mucks, MP ships (he has me covered). i'm singing songs inside. they turn over KK and QQ. i'm happier than a flea in a blood bank. but alas, flop brings a K right in the door. MP scoops whole pot. yukk. pretty happy about how i played in general, though, on this, my 3rd or 4th outing to the sands.

yeah, i look at it like i made the correct play. there was only 1 play to make, really, given my stack. i might feel worse if i made an incorrect play. once the chips went in, it really makes no difference to me what the outcome is because i understand the nature of poker and in particular, hold 'em. my only regret is i'm so new to live poker and i wish this would have happened at a later time...lol.

Is the wait list still super long here? I'm going to be staying at the Sands over a weekend soon and need to know what the situation is with getting on the 1/2 or 2/5 lists & how long the wait usually is.

Also, have they moved to a text-based page system or do you still have to wait in the poker area?

Steelworks was advertising a great new menu but it's basically just a watered down version of the old one. No more boneless wings, asian tower, the rib eye's gone, that popular grilled cheese with the steak in it's gone, and the burger now comes on an english muffin. oh well not that I care that much, but a lot of players are gonna be surprised when they order at the poker table.
