i am glad to hear this report. shows some good reactiveness to known issues. hope they keep it for when i return up north.

Seems like the numbers are way up recently. Is that the high BBJ effect?

As any regular on this thread knows I can be critical towards this room. But if I'm going to criticize it, then I need to give them the accolades they deserve as well when it's fitting.
I played there yesterday due to Borgata's spring open, and the difficulty getting a seat at times during their events. The 2/5 waiting list can be brutal. I got to Sands at 11AM and put my name on the 2/5 list. A new game was called within 5 min. 16 games were already running.
I played from 11AM until around 930PM. What a great session. One extremely memorable hand. I call a 25 raise with K6cc on the button. Flop comes 345 rainbow. Raiser makes it $80 after 4 way action. I call and the rest fold. 7 comes on the turn. He checks, i bet $125. He calls. River bricks and he checks. I bet 175 and he calls. Wtf?!? Amazing valuetown all day. How he calls I'll never know. Also called a 4bet shove with queens on the button for $300 and spiked a queen to beat someone's AA. He did limp with them to begin with so.....
The staff was great overall. I heard the lists called fast and efficiently. Second call last call within 2 minutes. Staff did walk around a bit which was nice. Only complaint was a guy raises to $25. Another guy throws in a green chip and 2 reds. Dealer says he must make it $50. $35 isn't half. I didn't say anything because I wasn't in the jand. The original raiser folded after the other guy was forced to raise. The floor was called after the fact and corrected the dealer. I racked up at 930 up about 1600 for the session. As i was leaving a guy was hawking me to get my seat. I knew he was line jumping, and stopped at the desk to tell the floor. They knew the table number I was at without me saying. So that shows they were paying attention. They went right over to tell the kid to keep it moving.
So all and all a good trip. No major complaints. I would visit again for sure. Am i still going to drive the extra 30 minutes to Borgata and pay the tolls? Of course I am. But I do see the improvement to the room. Good job Davey.

It's supposed to re-set pretty high because of the reserve.

actually I could have mentioned who it was since it would have taken about 5 business days for it to be removed but I'm a nice guy and I don't want to get on mat's bad side lol

I don't know how it played out, but I can only assume they got stacks in by the river at some point with Str8 flush over quad 10's

Played in a tournament during the week and was a little disappointed. Didn't start out with that many chips and the starting blinds were a little high. People were playing reckless so it was hard to even see a flop. A lot of really bad all-ins preflop, I think one was KQ vs 74 suited. Another was a call with 9 8 off suit that actually knocked a guy out. Less than 2 hours in I only had about 8 BB (from being blinded out)and shoved UTG with AQ and lost to pocket 7's.

The worse the players are the better.

Agreed but with small starting stacks it limits what you can do. It reminded me of an online freeroll

What a **** show the sands is turning out to be.

At a 2-5 game on Sunday night, a dealer makes a mistake in pushing a pot.

The whole table, except for the person the mistake made the favor of, explained what really happened. The floor insisted on going to camera review.

They initially came back with the wrong decision. After people complained, they shut the game down for now 90 minutes. We are still waiting.

The floor is incompetent and avoiding our table.
