Have heard great things so far, owner is certainly aggressive with promotions and guarentees so far. Thinking about spending my Monday there...1st 15 players get $50 added to their 1-3 stacks, then a tournament that looks to be an overlay waiting to happen that night.

Will report back my opinion of the club on Monday, here is to hoping it's not a "buddy system" like some others.

I've been to AC a number of times, as have many other 2p2ers.

Personally, I already consider it my #1 option to play poker in Columbus. It's not just a card room, either, rather is a social club with billiards, ping pong, video games, etc.

AC offers better amenities, free food (snacks) & drinks, better tables & chairs and a friendlier staff that actually understands how to run a card room.

Check it out, I do not think you'll be disappointed.

Oh yeah, they are also doing a great promo this month... first 15 players to start the cash games at noon each day get $50 free...

Do they run a cash game here or only tournaments? The website makes no mention of cash games other than some promotion to get free $50 that Donnicolo mentioned.

Also, no mention on the website about details of "joining the club" How much / how long / etc?

My volume has been down but when I do play it's been solely at AC. Heading in tonight for their $5k guar.

I will eventually return to HW based on game selection but for now AC has had the games I want to play ($1/3 NL, PLO, $2/5 NL, $5/10 PLO).

I encourage you to check it out.

Finally got to visit this place. Very nice for sure . Was hoping for 4/8 limit but 1/3 will do. Good tournaments it appears as the tables were hopping in tourney.

The post many times per day to their twitter account @ACPOKER1 letting everyone know how many tables are open and what the lists look like.

They have been trying to get 4-8 limit off on Thursday afternoons/evenings. There has been a good game each of the last two Thursdays if you're looking to play limit. The game starts around 4-5 PM on Thursday.

Yes, I played twice this week.....not a very good crowd either days. Idk if it was due to it being nice weather or if people don't like how it has been ran lately. I was at Hollywood Monday night playing 1/2 and I heard some people talking about a messed up ruling with a player all in that supposedly cost him 800 dollars to one of the "regulars". Now there is always two sides to the story, but from what he said i'd have to agree with him.

While I was there, I didn't notice anything bad going on, other than the fact that I was card dead most of the night Tuesday and got slow rolled by some black guy Wednesday.

I'll probably give it another try sometime next week, I felt like some of the players weren't as good as I am used to seeing at the tank or even the casino.

This place has gone downhill. For a couple of weeks, they offered a $30 tournament in the mid-afternoon and have since been discontinued.

Yesterday, they advertised that a cash game was set to begin at 3 PM. I arrived at 3 PM and no one was around to play. I was the first name on the list besides two employees looking to play. The game NEVER got off.

The tournament later that night (Thursday) was a $60 buy-in with a 1K guarantee. They got 12 players for the tournament. The final 3 chopped the 1K prize pool.

No cash games of any sort were played before, during, or after the tournament.

They are always "building a list". The list always consists of the same few people, a few of which are call-ins.

Monday, they are having their usual Monday tournament (3K guaranteed) but entrants are able to earn entries into their Millionaire Series, so hopefully a large turnout on Monday can give some life back to this place.

How can they afford to give away a Camaro when no one is playing cash?? It doesn't look like the promotion is drawing anyone in. At least the free $50 in March to the first 15 cash players each day got the games up and running.

The club had 81 entries last Monday for their 2.5K guarantee tournament, so it looks like they are doing well. On Mondays they have been having a juicy 2-5 game that has two tables running most of the day.

The website said a new series would be starting soon with plans to send players to Aruba.
